Office Manager, Dubai, UAE

My client who are based at the DIFC are seeking an experienced Office Manager to work in a stand-alone position ensuring the smooth running of the companies Dubai Office.

In this role you will manage all office facilities and relationships with suppliers for example DU, DFSA, stationary, water, building management etc. In charge of all office equipment; printers, video conferencing, mobile phones, laptops, etc. responsible for the signing off of new supplies, issuing equipment to new joiners, parking cards, business cards etc. Working closely with HR on various projects related to recruitment, staff inductions and training. Work closely with IT partner regarding security issues, trouble shooting daily IT issues, IT projects and systems. Overseeing the company’s social media and marketing, taking responsibility for the website and keeping content updated. Responsible for the company’s internal and external documentation ensuring it meets the standards of the brand. Oversee administrative staff, office boy, driver etc. Creating seating charts, plans to maximise space and potential plans to move/grow the office. Working with finance to ensure budgets and costs relating to the office, equipment and facilities are adhered to, negotiating with suppliers where necessary. All other associated projects related to the running of the office.

To be a successful candidate for this position you will need to have previous experience in an Office Manager role. Work experience in the UAE is essential. You will have administration experience related to HR, Finance, Marketing and IT, a versatile team player, able to wear lots of different hats. A hands-on individual, highly organised and someone that gets the job done. Able to work on own initiative and take responsibility. A non-confrontational, enthusiastic and dynamic individual. A person who is friendly and approachable, yet highly professional and confidential.
